Children and Teen Activities
Have you ever been to a church where everyone seems to be, well, retired? Where children are welcome in theory, but in practice are expected to be seen and not heard? That is not us. We are a multi-generational community that values all ages. We are delighted with the energy and curiosity our youngest parishioners bring. We love watching our teens transition into young adults. We support the parents in our midst, and we value the elders. We are blessed in our diversity.
Education
For our youngest parishioners, Godly Play (ages 4-5th grade) and Connect classes (for 6th-8th graders) are offered every Sunday during Advent between services, except November 30, when all ages are invited to create Advent wreaths in The Gathering Place. Our teen group, CLUB 412, meets once a month. Specifics are below.
